Hi Everyone... This was easy to set up and i think a great idea by Wendy to share family updates in between our get-togethers! It wasn't too hard to think of a name since i do find myself thinking about this place even when i have such a great view out of my 6-floor window overlooking the Boston Common. Maybe it's all the sirens and loud voices which make me wish for 100-acres of snow-covered, sled riding, wood chopping fun in the country... or maybe it's the food?
Anyway, i hope everyone settles in well and begins the New Year healthy and blessed. Here's to being a blessing to all around us in 2008!

Thanks to all for a wonderful holiday at the farm. God has continued to bless us with this beautiful snow after so many other blessings of the Season. He is good all the time.
Miss you all and am looking ahead to the next surprise. That Colossians passage is my next challenge. Give me a few weeks!
Love to all the best family in the world.

Fun stuff! This makes going 'cold turkey' a little easier (in reference to both leaving the warm community of my wonderful family and also the quality of dinner tonight :)
I came home dreading nasty emails...but it seems my neighborhood has moved on to other email topics! Next Thurs. is bookclub night...so you can continue to pray for a clothing of strength and dignity for your thin skined daughter/sister ;) (prov. 31:25)
thanks again for a wonderful vacation Mom and Dad!!! 5 stars!!
We visited with Jen Olivett at her home in Emporium last evening. She and her family are all doing well. Tony was at basketball practice.
There are some lingering colds here at Fairview. Anna is really stuffed up.
Memories of the family in snow and water are vivid.
Love you all!

It's raining here in Chinle today, my counter is full of laundry, the living room floor is covered with opened suitcases, target bags litter the hallway and Leah just pulled over the trash.... we've hit reality.
Thanks for a wonderful time, thanks for being such a wonderful family. I feel as though being at Fairview Farm takes me out of time, it is such a special place. Thanks mom and dad for all you do to make it so special and inviting.
Love you and miss you!

The house is so quiet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bill and I are going to sit by the fire, watch some football, nap and be thankful for the many blessings of our Lord and the family He has given to us.
The Schuligers left at 7:30 am and just now are in Conn. They traveled in some fog but not much traffic.
Love ,

Waking up to a winter wonderland...
we woke up to 3 inches of powder here this morning and it's still snowing. i took a picture, but am not sure how to post it on this site. but you can imagine that it looks beautiful. when we finish with homeschooling, we might go sledding on the big dirt pile, no comparison to the coal hills :)
love you all,
maurie
Bill is splitting firewood that Jeff cut up. Thanks, Jeff! The sun is shining, the snow is gone and it is chilly. I did my final Clerk of Session meeting and will now only assist the new Clerk as needed. Wondering what is next.
Love and blessing to you all. I have started working on the Col. verses with the music and get stuck about half way through. I'll have to listen and mark it one more time. Love, Mom
